After a history making postponement, the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 were finally able to take place this year. SuperSport, as the official broadcaster of the games throughout Africa, wanted to remind African viewers of the boundless potential of the human spirit to inspire them to watch the Olympic games on SuperSport. Now more than ever watching the Olympics is watching the best in the world rise beyond what they even dared to dream is possible. Moving away from the traditional sport promo SuperSport is known for, we created a film that captures these moments of rising in a way that let’s everyone know that in the land of the rising sun - Africa will rise.
